Asrama??!!

Salam wbt. Here are a few announcement regarding our tomorrows batch meeting. We, Sr's had tried our very best, our full potential to book a place in the cc for example as the lecture hall, the cafeteria and even the stairs in front of the cafeteria. But none of them succedd. The administration wont give us the place even for 5 minutes. We are really2 sorry for the incovenience.

So, we have agreed to do the batch meeting at Asrama Mara Floor 3. It will start at 12.30p.m so you guys will have time to eat and even solat. Tomorrow, all the Sr's will go to each class and announce back this announcement.

Look, some of you might think that this meeting is a lousy one. 'Malas r', 'Biar r,ak xkisah je sape nak jadi ketue' , 'Jauh la asrama tuh!' and etc. But please, this meeting is very very very very very very very very very important. Besides electing our new leader, a few important announcement will also be made. Regarding death and life! So please, do come to the meeting.

Do remember, people who help others in doing their job, Allah SWT will surely make their job become much more easier than they could have ever think of. So now, please set your nawaitu to go to the meeting. Who knows, Allah will make your exams a loooooottt easier tomorrow. Insyallah. :)

Lastly, I would like to wish a thousand of appreciation to all of you. You guys had been the most supportive batchmate ever. Best of luck for tomorrow from us, admin of Mumtazbazz. Salam wbt. :)

BATCH MEETING!!!!

Salam wbt to all of my dearest friends and collegues. Hows your study leave so far? Stressable? Well.. face the music. We are gonna be doctors so these things are like eating nasi lemak for us in the future. It will be so common in us that one fine day we might even ask ourself, why am i not stressed today? This is our preparation. This is our way. Be strong and know that Allah SWT is always be by our side. :)

As all of you know, we are going to held a batch meeting after the exams. Like last time, for those who CAME, we knew that the meeting was held in the lecture hall right? But unfortunately this time, on 12.oo pm, right after our examinations, theres going to be a lecture after that. But not our lecture. Maybe Arabs or our seniors. Soooo.....

We, Sr's and Batch leaders have decided to do it on this upcoming Thursday but the place will be confirm back to you guys on the day of the exams. A leader will go to each class and tell the places. The suggested places are :

a) The cafeteria

b) The stairs in front of cafeteria

c) Asrama Mara floor 3

I know some of u might say , 'ah,mana cukup' or 'sempitlah' but please, this is ur responsibility. The leader that u will choose after this will be ur leader for the whole year. He will be the one who you will seek help to after this. So please, give your support by coming to the meeting and choose your leader. As we know that our Batch leader,our SR for lecture B and our Batch Secretary had been chosen to be AJKTs, so we will make selections on this three rank.

Lastly, may Allah bless all of us in this exams and for the upcoming exams. We strive together,we failed together because we are family. The Mumtazzbazz family. Goodluck everyone. :)

ASSALAMUALAIKUM WARAHMATULLAHI WABARAKATUH

How are you guys? We are praying for the very best of you; all the ways in your life.

To make it plain and understandable, may we go straight to the point. Since the very last year, we've seen that student absence is one of the major undeniable factor that promotes student unproductive in term of their academical aspect. Thus, we have been discussing with the Administrator of IUMP programme. In that, the decision has been finalized and shall be implied at once.

Those whom fails to attend any practical classes or clinical round more than 25% will be suspended from entering the exam

(whatever the exam is). Thus the attendance shall be taken as follows:

PRECLINICAL PHASE:

Your attendance will be taken by the department authorities separately and shall be counted a week before the exam. Thus, any names, that has been posted (as they fail to keep their good habits by attending the classes) shall be suspended from entering any exam.

CLINICAL PHASE:

Attendance will strictly be taken by the SR, (yet, the clinical round sheet need to be signed). At the end of half-block for each department, names of those having high absence rate will be announced in alexmedicalteam yahoogroups, monitored & later on, for persistent absentees, the names will be forwarded to the co-ordinator for further action.

Please spread this notice among you friends, especially to those who never bother to check their e-mails.

Why would you even sign up for a medical school if you weren't going to go to class in the first place? If you think that going to class is a waste of time, then you shouldn't go to the medical school at all.

Here, together with this email, there are 2 documents explaining why you should do your best to attend all the classes.

Part of the experience of college life is attending classes. While it is also customary to miss a class or two, the main purpose of college is to expand your horizons and meet new people. What better way to do so than attending a class? Going to class encourages social interactions with the occasional group assignments, student participations and open discussions. Many of us would find it a privilege to carry on conversations with a scholar.

Attending a lecture is different from learning the course syllabus from a textbook. While the information is detailed in the course book, nothing beats the interpretation from an experienced teacher. Professors have actually lived the course content and they are an ample source of wisdom. Listening to a lecturer describe his experiences are usually better and clearer than trying to decode a textbook on a subject. While the class is in session, the facilitator can usually tell if students are getting tired or if the syllabus is beginning to confuse, indicating the need for a break with a joke or two. Textbooks usually don't have a sense of humor.

While the Internet can hold a myriad of information readily accessible at the click of a mouse at any time of the day, a computer cannot replace the flow of knowledge from one person to another. Textbooks may provide all the necessary course materials but it can't can inspire and motivate much less mentor and encourage. A classroom is where knowledge can come alive.

The whole point of going to college is to learn, and to get an education. There is rarely going to be a time when you shouldn't go to class, or that you will have that good of an excuse to not go. Even if you think the class is a joke, there are still reasons why you should go to class, even if only for the fact that you might as well get what you pay for. Why would you even sign up for college if you weren't going to go to class in the first place? If you think that going to class is a waste of time then you shouldn't go to college.

Reasons often given for not attending class

I overslept	Unless you're talking about only one missed class, this is not a good reason.
I was sick	Okay, this is fair. The other students - and the professor - will appreciate your not spreading germs if you're contagious, but it doesn't apply if you just sneezed once yesterday.
It's boring	Not everything in life can be exciting, or even interesting. There are things we all have to do, whether we like them or not or whether or not they seem relevant. We can't promise you'll love the teaching style of every professor, or that you'll find every course fascinating, but don't miss classes and ruin your GPA just because a class didn't seem good to you.
The class isn't challenging	Some classes do repeat information you've learned or used in other classes, or will cover something you already know. Many of the Social Sciences, for instance, contain a lot of overlap. Use these classes to explore links between disciplines, or to look for subleties and variations. If the homework is too easy, ask if there's some extra credit work, or do some extra reading in a related topic which interests you. Don't lie back and take it easy - you could be missing something!
I had some other homework to finish	Thinking logically here, missing one class to complete work for another really doesn't help. It's like using your Visa card to pay off your American Express bill: you're still behind, but you've just switched your priorities around.
My friend records it for me	Unless you are visually-impaired, or learn primarily in an auditory fashion, this will not help you. A recording will only cover class discussion and the lecture - it will not include any visual cues such as diagrams, charts, pictures or clarifications written on the board. Recordings have their place , and are useful for reminding you of details covered in class, but should not be used as a substitute for class attendance.

Sidang dewan yang penuh angin sekalian

Berdirinya saya disini akan melakukan 2 tugas :

pertama, saya akan menenangkan sidang hadirat sekalain. Jadi diharapkan agar sahabat-sahabat dewan dapat bersabar dan jangan disebabkan arab kita yang berpecah belah. Terdapat kepincangan disitu.

kedua, diharap selepas post kali ini. Sidang hadirat tidak lagi bertindak agresif dan teruskan kehidupan seperti biasa. Kenapa? saya memberikan 2 rasional :

a) insyaAllah pada masa akan datang (terdekat) kita akan mengadakan (dengan izin yang dipertua) 'conference' sesama dengan admin. Disinalah dimana segala-gala kepincangan atau kesilapan yang telah dilakukan oleh pihak kerajaan dapat kita dedahkan seterang-terangnya.

b) Sudah terang lagi bersuluh, pihak kerajaan telah melakukan pelbagai penindasan terhadap kita namun adakah kamii sebagai pihak pembankang akan berdiam diri? Tidak, selama ini kami telah fikir dan musyawarah memikirkan penyelesaian bagi masalah kita. Tidaklah kami hanya menjadi tunggul kayu yang kerjanya hanya terpajak berlandaskan tanah sahaja.

huhu.. kalau x tahu atau x ingat,

apa kata kita tmbhkan lagi pengetahuan kita tentang agama kita~ (module 9&10 bkn segala-galanya~ hehe..)

TAHUN INI -1432H

 PERISTIWA 10 MUHARRAM:

1)Tarikh berlabuhnya perahu Nabi Nuh a.s kerana banjir yang melanda seluruh alam di mana hanya ada 40 keluarga termasuk manusia binatang sahaja yang terselamat dari banjir tersebut

2)Nabi Ibrahim dilahirkan pada 10 Muharam dan diangkat sebagai Khalilullah (kekasih Allah) dan juga hari di mana baginda diselamatkan dari api yang dinyalakan oleh Namrud

3)Allah menerima taubat Nabi Daud kerana Nabi Daud merampas isteri orang walaupun bagainda sendiri       sudah ada 99 orang isteri

4)Allah mengangkat Nabi Isa ke langit, di mana Allah telah menukarkan Nabi Isa dengan Yahuza. Ini merupakan satu penghormatan kepada Nabi Isa daripada kekejaman kaum Bani Israil.

 

5)Allah juga telah menyelamatkan Nabi Musa pada 10 Muharam daripada kekejaman Firaun dengan mengurniakan mukjizat iaitu tongkat yang dapat menjadi ular besar yang memakan semua ular-ular ahli sihir dan menjadikan laut terbelah untuk dilalui oleh tentera Nabi Musa dan terkambus semula apabila dilalui oleh Firaun dan tenteranya

Dari Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu dia berkata, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ وَأَفْضَلُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَرِيضَةِ صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ

“Puasa yang paling utama setelah (puasa) Ramadhan adalah (puasa) di bulan Allah (bulan) Muharram, dan shalat yang paling utama setelah shalat wajib (lima waktu) adalah shalat malam.“[1

 

Jadi, marilah kita beramai- ramai beramal dengan amalan yang lebih baik dan BERHIJRAH, dari parkara yang buruk kepada perkara yang baik, perkara yang baik kepada perkara yang lebih baik.
